Your Production Partner in China
China offers low costs and flexible capacity across industries — but without on-site control, quality, communication and deadlines are at risk.
Eva Solutions plans, coordinates and controls your production in China, from finding the manufacturer to goods ready to ship.
How production with Eva Solutions works
-
Analysis & briefing
We clarify product, target market, quantities, budget and timeline, then plan the sourcing strategy.
-
Factory search & quote comparison
We research and vet manufacturers and compare quotes: price, MOQ, lead time, certifications.
-
Technical specification
Spec sheet drafted or refined in English and Chinese: materials, dimensions, tolerances, functions, accessories, packaging, quality criteria.
-
Sample production & approval
Samples documented with photos and videos, shipped to Europe on request. Series production starts only after your approval.
-
Series production & ongoing inspections
We monitor production with interim reports and step in before deviations affect larger quantities.
-
Final inspection & handover to logistics
Quantity, packaging and documents checked, then handover: consolidation in China, sea, air, rail or road freight.

How We Find and Vet Manufacturers
Not every supplier on Alibaba or 1688 is a real factory. We check on site before any contract, so no trading company quietly outsources your order to an unchecked third party.
How We Source Suppliers
- Requirements brief Capacity, certifications and industry experience, defined with you.
- Research Alibaba, 1688.com, Global Sources, factory databases, local networks; if useful, trade fairs like the Canton Fair.
- Shortlist 3–5 vetted candidates: company profile, capacity, project references.
- Quote comparison Price, quality, MOQ and lead time side by side.
How We Verify Suppliers
- Corporate records Business license, QCC registration, chamber of commerce filings
- Export history Documented shipments to Europe, product certifications.
- Factory audit On site: equipment, capacity, labor conditions, order load.
- References European buyers, samples from past production runs.
Services in the production area

Private Label & Own-Brand Production in China
Private label means a factory in China makes the product and you sell it under your own brand. We support you from supplier sourcing through sample approval to delivery.
OEM vs. ODM
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
- Basis
- Your product specification, followed exactly
- Strength
- Full control over design, materials and quality
- Best if
- the product itself should set you apart
ODM (Original Design Manufacturer)
- Basis
- The factory's ready-made design, customisable
- Strength
- Faster to market
- Best if
- speed matters more than differentiation

- Design patents — for product shapes and packaging.
- IP clauses in the production contract — who owns the intellectual property.
Our in-house legal team in China handles contract drafting and enforcement.
Quality Control for China Manufacturing
-
Pre-Production Inspection
Before the line starts: are the right materials and components in place, has the factory understood the spec? Mistakes here cost nothing to fix.
-
During-Production Inspection
Random sampling during production flags systematic defects before the whole batch is affected.
-
Pre-Shipment Inspection
Once production wraps: quantity, workmanship, packaging and labelling, checked against the spec sheet with AQL sampling (Level II, 2.5).
Every inspection is documented with photos and videos; you get a written report with findings and recommendations before anything ships.

What Manufacturing in China Costs
A realistic budget covers more than the unit price:
- Unit Price
- Driven by materials, complexity and order size; larger volumes bring the unit price down.
- MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)
- Typically 100 to 10,000 units, depending on the product.
- Tooling
- One-time cost for injection moulds, casting dies or stamping tools: €500 to €15,000.
- Samples
- Prototypes and pre-production samples are billed separately.
- Packaging & Labeling
- Custom boxes, hang tags, barcodes, and regulatory labels.
- QC & Certification
- Inspections and lab tests (CE, RoHS, REACH) as add-on services.
- Payment: 30/70 or letter of credit
- Usually a 30% deposit before production and 70% after the final inspection passes; a letter of credit for larger orders. Eva Solutions handles the payments.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find a reliable manufacturer in China?
Start with a detailed brief: product type, volumes, quality standards, required certifications. Eva Solutions searches Alibaba, 1688.com, local directories, and our own contact network. Every candidate goes through on-site vetting — company records, factory walkthrough, references, and capacity check — before we put them on your shortlist.
How long does production in China take?
Rough timelines: samples in 2–4 weeks, mass production in 10–40 days. If tooling is involved (injection molds, dies), add another 2–6 weeks. We set a realistic schedule before anything starts.
How does sampling work?
Once the spec is approved, the factory produces prototypes. We inspect and document them on camera, then compare against your requirements. We can express-ship physical samples to Germany if needed. Mass production only starts after your written sign-off.
How do you control quality?
Three checkpoints: pre-production (materials and spec comprehension), in-line (random sampling during the run), and pre-shipment (full AQL inspection). Every stage is backed by a photo/video report.
What if there are defects?
Issues caught mid-production are resolved with the factory before the rest of the batch is made. At final inspection, you review our report and decide: approve, rework, or reject. Contractual terms for these scenarios are locked in before production begins.
What certifications do I need to sell in the EU?
It depends on the product: CE and RoHS for electronics, REACH and CPNP for cosmetics, EN 71 for toys, BattG compliance for batteries. As the importer of record, product liability falls on you — lab testing before shipment isn't optional. Eva Solutions coordinates all required testing in China.
How much does it cost to manufacture in China?
Unit price depends on materials, complexity, and volume. On top of that: tooling, samples, packaging, and QC. We provide a line-by-line cost breakdown so there are no surprises.
What are typical MOQs?
They vary widely. Simple goods (packaging, textiles) can start at 100–500 units. More complex products requiring tooling usually start at 1,000–5,000 units. We negotiate MOQs on your behalf and can source factories with lower minimums when needed.
What payment terms should I expect?
Industry standard is 30% deposit up front, 70% after final inspection and before shipment. Letters of Credit work for larger orders. Full prepayment is rare outside of sample orders. Eva Solutions manages the payment flow and builds contractual protections around every milestone.
How do I protect my product design in China?
Register your trademark in China before production — the country runs on a first-to-file system. Beyond that: sign an NNN agreement with every factory, file design patents for product shapes, and include explicit IP clauses in your manufacturing contract. Our China-based lawyers handle all of it.
How is Eva Solutions different from Alibaba?
Alibaba is a marketplace — you browse, negotiate, and carry the risk yourself. Eva Solutions is your sourcing and production partner with an office in China: we find the right factory, verify it in person, negotiate in Mandarin, run QC, and manage shipping. Full service versus a search engine.
Can Eva Solutions handle production, shipping, and fulfillment together?
Yes. We manage the entire chain: production in China, consolidation at our local warehouse, international freight (sea, air, rail, or road) to Germany, and if you need it — warehousing, pick & pack, and returns. One partner, zero handoff friction.
